
What's So Important About Digital Marketing?
Did you know that 85 percent of potential customers search online (80% use Google) for businesses and services? And when they do zero in on a business, 80 percent of those read Reviews to see if that business is credible and customer-oriented. All of this before they contact the business.
All good, right? Not so fast! Having a website and a Google listing with good customer reviews is certainly important, and we might even say, "foundational" (meaning that you must have those to even be eligable to be found);
BUT
(there's always a "but");
what if when the potential customer searches Google she doesn't happen to come across your listing?
Shoppers are very impatient - they punch in their search phrase, Google returns a search page with ony 10 free listings (plus maybe 3 highlighted businesses (Google Business listings), scans those listings, and maybe (but not always) checks the second page (now a total of 20 listings),
and if nothing lights her fire, she starts over with a revised search phrase.
Out of Sight, Out of Mind. You may have the best value in the market, the best sales team, and the best reviews, but you're not even in the game for new customers. Sure, you selling cars - to your former customers and through referrals -
BUT
(there's that "but", again),
the NEW customers (new to you) are really the customers that you need to grow your business and begin to DOMINATE your Competitors!
How Do I Know If I Have This Problem?
This is easy! Instintively you probably already suspect, and now its confirmed by being contacted by IlluminateSuccess who only contacts businesses after first identifying them as having poor Google ranking for relevant search phrases.
What We Do
If you read the section, "What's So Important About Digitial?", above, then you will understand "What We Do" is about solving the lack of Google search exposure for businesses. We make sure our client's Google listing and website are ranked on page 1 or 2 for relevant seach phrases, and strive to give our Client a Dominate Competitive Advantage over its local competition. For used car dealerships (and used car centers of New car dealerships) this includes "Make" pages (i.e.,"used Chevy Truck Dealers")
We also provide other services while we're fixing the ranking problem, such as: making sure that Customer Reviews are beng responded to, and the number of new reviews are increasing weekly; that the use of marketing services (like Cars.com, etc.) are really earning their fees and "playing fair" with the Dealer; confirming that Google has indexed key webpages; and reviewing sources of the Client's advertising for effectiveness.
Who We Are
IlluminateSuccess has been serving the Car Dealer Industry since 2010. Our founder and Principle, Roy Krag, created the system we use to help our clients grow their business and to digitally "dominate" their competition. Prior to founding this business, he served as a business consultant for 10 years specilizing in marketing and trouble-shooting after having had a successful career as a C-suite business executive.
We have worked with large and small Dealers from around the Country including Dealerships in the cities of Houston & Austin TX, Oklahoma City OK, Slidell LA, Biloxi, Gulfport, Hattiesburg & Jackson MS, Mobile & Birmingham AL, Atlanta GA, Columbia SC, Nashville TN, Raleigh NC, Virginia Beach VA, Minneapolis MN, and Washingon DC.
How We Work
Before contacting a prospective Dealer, we do our homework. We identify a city with potential, and then spend time researching dealers to find the ones with the most potential for improvement using our proprietary systems. We typically identify the top 2-3 dealers who we feel will benefit the most form our services, but only contact one at a time. We typically don't work for more than one dealer in a market area.
The Process
Initial Contact: We contact a Dealer (typically by email and phone) and introduce ourselves and our service.
Step one: With the Dealer's permission, We submit a signed Confidentiality Agreement so we can temporarily access information on the business not in the public domain; and obtain permission to submit relevant questions to help us prepare a Proposal. There is no cost to the Dealer for IlluminateSuccess to perform its research
Step two: Based upon information gathered through the public domain and through prepietary information from Dealer, we will submit a written proposal to Dealer that offers two services and a summary of the costs and payment structure.
Service One. Offer a written Analysis & Recommendations identifiying ways that the Dealer can improve its profitablity, and increase its sales revenue. The Dealer will benerally be able to execute the recommendations itself without IlluminateSuccess's assistance. A written Anaysis & Recommendations will be released for the one-time fixed price.
Service Two. Offer to install our preprietary programming called Search Engine Targeting (SET) identifying the Makes and the key phrases. This program is priced on a monthy performance-based fee schedule. No payment will be due until we have provided documentation of ranking of key seach phrases (such as "used Ford Truck for sale, Cincinnati OH", "used car dealer, Lexington KY", "used Mercedes Benz Dealer, Topeka, KS"), etc., based upon the key Makes carried in inventory by the Dealer. Typically we recommend that the top 4-8 Makes that aggregate 60 percent of the Dealer Inventory be included.
Step Three: Dealer makes the decision of what, if any, service it wishes to purchase.
Step Four:
Whatever Service Dealer elects will be executed by IlluminateSuccess
and and presented to Dealer in accordance with the terms set forth in Step Two.
