Mr. Krag graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree from the School of Architecture.

He was hired as one of only three graduates nationally for the inaugural Executive Training program of Levitt & Sons, Lake Success, NY, which at the time was the largest homebuilder in the US and famous for its Levittown communities in NY, PA, IL and MD. Mr. Krag's employment was interrupted by a prior military service commitment.

Mr. Krag served three years as a commissioned officer in the Army obtaining the rank of Captain. During his service Mr. Krag served as a Battalion S-3 (Operations Officer) and Company Commander. He was awarded the Army Commendation and Bronze Star Medals for meritorious service.

Following his military service, Mr. Krag returned to Levitt & Sons serving as executive assistant to the Long Island Regional Manager, Director of Corporate Planning, and Assistant Regional Manager for Levitt's Atlanta Region.

Mr. Krag accepted an offer from Pulte Home Corporation to serve as the Georgia Division President. During his 15 years at Pulte (Now PulteGroup, Inc) he held the following executive positions: Division President in Maryland, Virginia, and South Florida; Area President of Maryland/Virginia (the first such position in Company history); Eastern Regional President (the first such position in Company history), Corporate Senior Vice President and elected to the Board of Directors; Western Regional President, Corporate Senior Vice President; and Corporate President, Chief Operating Officer.

During the four-year period that Mr. Krag served as Pulte Division President of Maryland and Area President of MD/VA (while also serving as Division President of Virginia), he grew the Washington metropolitan market from his predecessor's final year of 275 annual closings to over 1,300 annual closings becoming the most profitable operation in the Company.

During Mr. Krag’s four-year tenure as a Pulte senior executive (Corporate Senior Vice President/Regional President, and Corporate President/Chief Operating Officer), in addition to his duties of overseeing the operating divisions of the Company, he was tasked with developing and implementing the Company's operating and growth strategies which resulted in tripled unit sales, revenues, and profits, and rising from the 7th to the 2nd largest home builder in the US.

After leaving Pulte, Mr. Krag founded a series of consulting companies which have provided a wide range of management and consulting services to numerous publicly-held and privately-owned homebuilders and real estate developers, including serving as interim CEO, COO and CMO assignments, “fresh eyes” analyses, operational due-diligence for acquisitions, strategic planning, troubleshooting, and general advisory services.
